When I started this blog, some of my friends suggested I write a petite fashion do’s and don’ts. While I am still planning to create an ultimate petite styling guide (watch out for this!), I think it’s really important to address some myths about styling a petite body frame first.

TBH, a lot of these misconceptions are written by bloggers or fashion writers who do not know how to style. Yes, I said what I said, and I meant what I said. The truth is, there are a lot of styling workarounds for these misconceptions. As someone who works in the tech industry, I’ve been working from home way before COVID-19. While I didn’t work from home fulltime, I did spend three out of five working days at home. In the beginning, my idea of a work from home outfit is a hoodie on top of my pajamas. I would just roll out of bed 30 or even 15 minutes before my daily first-hour meeting, splash cold water on my face, and gulp a quick cup of coffee to look alive.

Let me tell you, this was super comfortable. In fact, maybe too comfortable that I ended up climbing back into bed after basically staying on mute the entire meeting. Yes, it was cozy – but it wasn’t working (pun intended). Since then, I’ve been playing around with pieces in my wardrobe to find the right balance between comfy and professional. Since many of us are staying at home fulltime, I thought I’d share some work from home outfit ideas that I’ve been practicing for two years now.
